This can be reached from Senhora da Rocha beach by a short tunnel through the rock or via the road if you prefer

Or take a walk through the beautiful surroundings or if you need a break from the sunshine, relax in the shade.

If you dont fancy a picnic, there are some great places to eat, the local foods are amazing.

There are a number of water parks, marine zoos, riding centres, safari trips as well as as trips on traditional fishermens' boats to see the many grottoes, or half day trips along the coast on a variety of catamarans, schooners and motor yatchs - some which stop at deserted beaches, inaccessible from the land, for a BBQ lunch.
5. Then there's scuba diving and.canoes and pedaloes and " banana" boats and......a multitude of other water based activities.

1. There are many other beaches within 5-20 minutes driving.
2. The resorts of Albufeira, Carveiro and Armacao de Pera are easily reached by car, or try a trip into the Monchique mountains and the fortified town of Silvres
3. Golf courses abound in the Algarve and the reception is happy to book you rounds with reduced green fees.
